Bio

Joya Delgado Harris is Director of the Colorectal Cancer Care Initiative (CCCRI) at Fight Colorectal Cancer. The CCCRI is a collaborative program that partners with survivors, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and industry leaders to address pressing challenges in colorectal cancer screening and care through data-driven strategies and actionable goals. Previously, she served as Executive Director of the Cancer Gold Standard™ at the CEO Roundtable on Cancer and as Director of Research Integration at the American Cancer Society.
An 18-year breast cancer survivor, Joya is deeply committed to centering the patient voice in health research and care - serving as a peer reviewer for the DoD's CDMRP, an advocate reviewer for CPRIT, and the Cancer Grand Challenges Advocacy Panel (NCI and Cancer Research UK). She holds a BA from Wellesley College and a MPH from Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health.
