The German Cancer Research Congress (DKFK) is a joint event of the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), German Cancer Aid and the German Cancer Society (DKG) as well as the CCC Network of Top Oncology Centers, the German Cancer Consortium (DKTK), the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) and the Department of Experimental Cancer Research (AEK) of the DKG.
The congress is a contribution to the National Decade Against Cancer and aims to promote networking between the various players in the cancer research landscape in Germany and to present selected highlights and cutting-edge research from basic to preclinical and translational cancer research. In addition, the German Prize for Cancer Prevention Research will be awarded for the third time.
