Clinical translational cancer trials

Non-commercial, science-driven clinical studies initiated by researchers, called IITs, are central to progress. IITs are developed on the basis of novel research findings. The NCT has a special focus on early clinical trials for the development of personalized oncology. Patients’ perspectives and needs are actively incorporated into this process. The NCT provides personnel, infrastructure, and funding for these innovative studies.
