NCT clinical trials

  • The NCT aims to quickly translate new research findings into innovative clinical trials. These trials are called Investigator-Initiated Trials (IITs).
  • IITs are clinical trials that are planned and conducted by clinical researchers themselves. They are based on current scientific findings and help develop new or better treatments.
  • The perspective of patients is important in this process: patient representatives actively participate in the NCT’s research activities from the very beginning.
  • The NCT provides personnel, infrastructure, and funding for these innovative studies.
