Bio

Prof. Jonathan Fletcher is a lab-based medical and pediatric oncologist and geneticist at Harvard Medical School and Mass General Brigham Hospital in Boston. His lab focus is therapeutic advances and biomarker development in rare cancers, and his clinical activities are in cancer diagnostics. His research program has discovered oncogenic mechanisms in GIST and many sarcoma subtypes, and he coordinates international research consortia devoted to maximizing therapeutic response in these cancers. He also organizes and co-leads annual international working conferences for therapeutic advances in sarcomas. He is Chief Scientific Officer for the N. American academic consortium, SARC, which spearheads both therapeutic and scientific advances in sarcoma.
