Bio
Dr. David Zahrieh is Associate Professor of Biostatistics at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science and a Collaborative Scientist in the Division of Clinical Trials and Biostatistics at the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center. He provides statistical leadership to multidisciplinary cancer research teams, with a focus on breast cancer, melanoma, cancer control, and cancer care delivery. He serves as lead statistician for the Melanoma and Breast Cancer Disease Groups at Mayo Clinic and for the Symptom Intervention Committee of the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology NCORP Research Base. Dr. Zahrieh has more than 25 years of experience in the design, analysis, and reporting of clinical trials, working across both Frequentist and Bayesian frameworks. He earned his M.S. in Biostatistics in 2000 and has built his career across academia and industry, including positions at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Shire Human Genetic Therapies, and Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical, contributing to registration trials and innovative trial designs in oncology and rare diseases.
