Bio

Claire Roddie is a prominent consultant hematologist at University College London Hospital (UCLH) and an associate professor in hematology at University College London (UCL). Her primary research focus is on CAR-T cell therapies for blood and solid cancers, with particular expertise in the treatment of B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). Dr. Roddie has been deeply involved in the development, manufacture and clinical testing of novel CAR-T therapies for blood and solid cancers. In addition to her clinical and research roles, Dr. Roddie has an extensive publication record, and she also she serves on several prestigious committees and boards, such as the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) and the European Hematology Association (EHA), where she contributes to guidelines and policies related to CAR-T cell therapies. Through her extensive research and clinical efforts, Dr. Roddie is contributing significantly to advancing CAR-T cell therapy and improving outcomes for patients with challenging hematological cancers.
