NCT/UCC Dresden

At the National Center for Tumor Diseases in Dresden, patients and researchers walk through the same door. This is more than just a symbol: The NCT/UCC Dresden has set itself the task of linking research and patient care as closely as possible. This means that cancer patients in Dresden can be treated at the cutting edge of scientific knowledge, which is only possible in this form at a few university locations in Europe.

Main research areas

The NCT/UCC Dresden focuses on local precision therapy with AI- and robotics-assisted surgical oncology and radiation oncology, cellular immunotherapy and patient stratification using hereditary and non-hereditary molecular markers. Clinical-translational, patient-oriented research at the NCT/UCC is supported by a unique platform with experimental OR, state-of-the-art imaging and radiotherapy units as well as molecular, cell biology and laser laboratories.
